This movie is a family friendly movie and is probably especially cool if you are around 12 years old.
I liked what they did with Mysterio and that was the most interesting part of this whole film. Everything else outside of that to me was mediocre at best.
The jokes weren't funny at all. The teenage love story dramas made me cringe.
I love most of the MCU movies but this is a dud and one I hope I never see again.
Ive yet to see what I consider a perfect Spiderman movie (the closest in my mind was Maguires Spiderman 2) however this whole scene was incredible. They managed to update and adapt Mysterio to film in a way that fits with the current MCU and also portray his abilities flawlessly. This whole exchange would feel right at home on the pages of the comic. 5:25 Joker: Very poor choice of words. When Peter Mastered his Spidey Sense was an epic moment.
Spider-man far from home ending. Loved this scene so much. The comic book fanboy in me was just watching the big screen in amazement. The only thing I wasnt really with was the bit with Tonys grave. Felt like Uncle Ben would have been a little more hard hitting. But Peters relationship with him in the MCU is a little unclear, so it isnt a fatal flaw for me. Loved it nonetheless.

For YEARS, and after 6 Spider-Man movies, I have always wanted to see the Master of Illusion get the big screen treatment, and WOW, I could not have been more proud with what they have done with him. He is now my favorite villain in the MCU. Jake Gyllenhaal was FANTASTIC as Quentin Beck/Mysterio. He is such a talented actor. And this scene in particular was everything I wanted to see Mysterio do to Spidey. My jaw was on the floor. It's my favorite scene in the movie, and probably of the best moment in all of Spider-Man's films.

Spider-Man's return to MARVEL was something that was inevitable in the end: Sony couldn't keep the iconic mascot for themselves so they decided to share the film rights of the character with Disney and MARVEL. Thus, Spider-Man: Homecoming was born and its sequel, this year's Far From Home: where Peter Parker is on holiday in Europe and he'll come to terms with his own sense of responsibility and belonging in the world.
Far From Home is another solid entry in a very thorough film franchise: and it helps that Spider-Man's an equal favourite superhero of mine, equal to Superman and Batman. This film extends the web-slinger's legacy and shows he can still be re-imagined in many ways to fit today's very demanding cinematic landscape. Also, even though there are plenty of post-Endgame twists addressed in this movie, it has some rather nice ones of its own making: one in particular which was NEVER teased or implied in the trailers (or rather, make that TWO secret twists.
Spider-Man's here to stay, and it seems like the best is yet to come. Who knows? I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes next.
